Sul Sul! This is Roxanna Llama-Llama reporting to you LIVE from Sulani. Yesterday, I left Benny in charge to cover Rick and Brianna’s Solo Date, and I can’t believe I missed that one myself! Watching the outtakes, I was on pins and needles at the end of that date wondering what Rick would do. But, thankfully Rick stood fast and adhered to the rules. I don’t know how much more he can take! Thankfully, today is the last of the Solo Dates before the “no kissing” rule is lifted. Then watch out ladies! Rick is on the loose!
Talking about “being on the loose”, I found some rather strange anomalies in the records at the archives yesterday. After scouring my notes and re-watching all the date videos, I found something! I had remembered that Rick had mentioned his mother’s name was “Morgana” on his Solo Date with Isla Waters.
And, on his Solo Date with Charlotte Eclair, he ordered a “Sunset Valley” drink, which “reminded him of his childhood home”. So, I, Roxanna Llama-Llama put two and two together and may have found something!
I ran a search of everyone in Sunset Valley with the name Morgana, and there was only one sim with that name. A doctor named Morgana Wolff. She had been married to a Thornton Wolff, but it didn’t last long.

I also found some articles about a big scandal involving Morgana’s husband, Thornton, and a sim named Jamie Jolina, who was a Trauma Surgeon at the same hospital where Morgana worked. Morgana and Thornton divorced shortly after the scandal. From everything I researched, the records showed that Morgana and Thornton didn’t have any children together. Could it have been possible that Morgana was pregnant (with Rick) when they divorced and never told her ex-husband or wrote his name on the birth certificate? Somehow that didn’t add up since Morgana still lived in Sunset Valley and Thornton would have known. Maybe there was a “special” someone in Morgana’s life and she became pregnant after the divorce? Nah, if he was so “special” why didn’t they marry? I stared at all the crossed off scenarios on my pad of paper, and then I thought some more. What if Rick was not really her “natural” son, but her “adopted” son? That made more sense to me, and from what I read, Morgana had wanted children, but Thornton thoroughly disliked children. And, financially, as a doctor, Morgana could well afford to raise a child herself, since there is no indication she ever remarried. Could it be possible then, that Rick was adopted?
If Rick was indeed adopted, it could pose a bit of a problem. Most adoption records are sealed, and it could be a lengthy process to have those records unsealed. As well, when a child is adopted, the original “birth records” are sealed, and a new birth certificate is done with the new name of the child and the name(s) of the adoptive parents. But some communities have public records on file, so in order to solve this, I, Roxanna Llama-Llama have sent away for Rick’s birth records. The records will take a few days to arrive, so we’ll just have to sit tight until then.
If there is no revelation there, I have a contact that I may have to use. But you know, I had another thought on this. If Rick was adopted…does he even know he was? Maybe he does, with his talk of a future family of his own children and adopted children. But what if he doesn’t? Will it come as a shock to him? And will we ever find out who Rick’s real birth mother was? Is it Morgana or is it someone else? And what about his birth father?
I tell you, if it wasn’t for my vivacious personality, I, Roxanna Llama-Llama would make a fabulous private investigator. But, seriously, could you see me hiding in the bushes evesdropping on sims? Never! I am too MARVELOUS for that, and sims would recognize moi instantly. So, that is why I, Roxanna Llama-Llama, am the hostess with the mostest on this show! I prefer to do my sleuthing in libraries, on the internet and during those candid interviews. And don’t forget about all those contacts I have. Oh yes, lots of contacts.
But wait! Now there IS someone in Sulani who knows Rick’s “real” last name, be it his adoptive last name or his birth last name. And that is Noelani Kawai. The wife of Rick’s best friend, Manu. Noelani is the one who entered Rick into this contest and changed his last name on the application. I should have thought of that sooner! But will she tell me the truth? You know, I believe it’s long overdue that I pay Noelani a visit. But that visit will have to wait until after the Rose Ceremony. So many questions about Rick. Still a man of mystery. Until next time, Wikii Wikii Wii from Sulani.
